Tuesday, 27th May 2025 was a historic day for the National School of Local Administration, (NASLA) As she sent-off her first ever badge of trainees.
The new experts trained to suit into the Regional and Local authorities’ offices, graduated at the Buea Independence square. Presiding over the ceremony, His Excellency George Elanga Obam, minister of Decentralization and Local Development, the Boss of Local Development, assured the fresh four hundred graduates of the readiness of the Government to see that the experts that they have become, would all have access to employment.
The ceremonial ground was equally graced with the presence of the Governor of the South West region, Bernard Okala Bilai, Senator Mbella Moki Charles, the MP for Buea urban constituency, Hon. MALOMBA ESEMBE, religious and traditional authorities amongst others.
Mayor, David MAFANI NAMANGE Esq, the Landlord of the Buea Municipality, reminded the newly moulded and skilled equipped experts of Regional and Local Governance, of the major role and importance of their contribution in the growth and development of the entire country.
