The Buea Council was Thursday 13 March 2025, blessed with the courtesy and pastoral visit of the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), the Right Reverend Miki Hans Abia. He was accompanied to the visit by the Synod Clerk of the PCC and some of his very closed collaborators as well as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr Fongang Moses. During the visit the Moderator seized the opportunity to formally introduce the newly elected authorities of the PCC and to pray for the Leadership of the Buea Council, the municipality and nation at large. The occasion was also an opportunity to outline some of the institutions of the PCC based in Buea to wit the PRESMICROFINANCE, Pres Insurance, Pres IT Centre, the Presbyterian Diagnostic hospital Buea, etc. It was also an avenue for both parties to chart a way forward on the collaboration between the church and the municipality.
On the part, Mayor David Mafani Namange Esq, congratulated the Moderator for his brilliant election at the helm of the PCC adding that he is the choice of the Lord to His people, for if God was not on his side, he would not have been elected Moderator. He further assured the Moderator of his total collaboration in the discharge of his function.
The visit ended with the exchange of gifts and, a reminder notice to the Mayor of the institution and Induction of the Moderator and Synod Clerk of the PCC on Sunday 16th March 2025 in Buea.
