THE 10TH MILITARY SECTOR HAS A NEW COMMANDER

Thursday, 11th April 2024, witness the installation ceremony of the newly appointed 10th Military Sector Commander Capitaine de Vaisseau NKOTTO PETIT PAUL ORELIEN. This installation comes after the presidential degree No 2024/063 of 13th March 2023.

The solemn event was presided over by H.E Bernard OKALIA BILIA Governor of the South West Region, in attendance all Administrative, Judiciary, Religious and Traditional authority and well-wishers.

Brigadier General EBA EBA Bede Benoit, Commander of the 2nd Military Region who officiated the handing over and installation of the newly appointed chief officer, Colonel Nkotto Petit Paul Orelien who was born on the 21/01/1974 at Metet in Sangmelima Subdivision, Dja and Lobo Division in the South Region of Cameroon. A father of 06 children. He is a drilled officer who has served in the following capacities: 1998- Porte Fanion CEMM; 1999-2002 Chief of Operation P104 Bakassi; 2002-2005 Com 221st Surveillance Division; 2005-2008 OV/BEAG/RMIA2; 2008-2009 DV/BEAG/RMIA3; 2009-2011 AD CEMM POUR EMPLOI; 2011-2013 In charge of Studies B4/RMIA2; 2013-2015 CE/Chef SAF/DIRGEN; 2017-2020 Chef BRH/EMM; 2020-2021 Cef BUR MAT/EMM; and today the commander of the 10th Military Sector of Cameroon in replacement of Col NKENFACK Emmanuel who was appointed at the central administration of the arm forces.

The new commander is in-charge of collecting and disseminating reports to hierarchy and other collaborators and will equally be responsible for the selection of youths who will want to take up a career in the military among others responsibilities. He was charge to lead his troupes with all dexterity.

The ceremony ended in the joy of the event as the new commander was introduced to the authorities present and his troupes.
