The 2024 edition of the annual holiday job program at the Buea Council has been launched. This was during a ceremony chaired by the Lord Mayor David MAFANI NAMANGE Esq, at the Buea Council Chambers today July 16th 2024.
During the ceremony, the shortlisted individuals whom comprises of students from secondary schools and higher institutions of learning within the Buea Municipality, were encouraged to be diligent and to abide to the rules of this institution, while upholding good moral values
At the end of the ceremony, which had in attendance the Deputy Mayors, the Secretary General, and various Service heads of the Buea Council. The Holiday jobbers were presented working equipment, and the Lord Mayor reiterated that the holiday job which will run from July 16 to August 16th 2024, is to assist parents in the forthcoming academic year, as well as expose these students to a work culture.
