THE CITY OF LEGENDARY PLAY HOST TO THE 2024 EDITION OF THE OPEN BUSINESS DAYS
The Minister of Secondary Education HE Prof. PAULINE NALOVA LYONGA today, 14th March 2024, presided over the official launching ceremony of the Open Business Days (OBDs) for Vocational and Technical Schools at the Government Technical High School Molyko Buea, under the theme; “Open Business Days: Secondary Schools showcasing the Made in Cameroon Label”. One of the objectives of this open days was to promote and increase the influence of technical and vocational training. It was also an avenue for students to show case their ingenuity in arts, crafts, ICTs, engineering and agricultural skills to the general public. In her keynote address, HE Prof. NALOVA LYONGA, announced that more vocational and technical institutions will be created in the country in line with international standards especially distance learning educational centers for the digitalization of the sector so as to seek for more local solutions.
The occasion was also an opportunity to carry out an audio visual report on 3 best national exhibits for OBDs 2024 Edition and the award of the best Regional and National Awards of the OBDs 2024 Edition.
The ceremony rounded off with a visit to the various exhibition stands.
