Buea Council today 05th of October 2022, played host to the South west Chapter of the National workshop with mayors and presidents of regional councils, organized by the National Assembly in collaboration with the Senate.
The workshop which aimed at drilling the local elected, on the mission of the Parliamentarians Network: Diaspora-Decentralized and Cross-border Cooperation (REPCOD), which serve as a platform to network for sponsors in local developmental projects. In the same way called for a proper update of the Regional and Councils Developmental Plans. This will easily earmark ready and available needs of the community.
Participants at the workshop were Senators, Parliamentarians, the President of the Regional council, the Vice president of the house of chiefs all mayors from the South West Region. It was with much zeal and determination that all participants shared knowledge and enthusiastic to develop the South west Region.
