The deliberative organ of buea council votes 2,9 billion fcfa as budget for 2023

Thursday 15th December 2022, was a historic event for Buea Council and her denizens, as councillors sitting in the second extraordinary session meant to examine and adopt the 2023 budget, voted 2,9 Billion Francs CFA, marking an increase of 3.57{4bc3ede3240a3217172528aa59dd07724b4dbfcc3e5e77f99dc5ee17a50db101} as compared to that of last year. The budgetary session was presided over by the Senior Divisional Officer for Fako, Mr Chaibou, in presence Senator Mbella Moki Charles, Honorable Malomba, Divisional Delegate of MINDEVEL Fako, Mr Okie Naseri Julius and traditional rulers and the population of Buea. The budget earmarked major projects to be carried out within the municipalities to wit; water, feudal roads for traffic decongestion within the Municipality and a municipal integrated fishpond etc. The session was holding on the heels of budget Orientation Debate session which held on the 02nd of December 2022.
