WORKING SESSION BETWEEN THE BUEA COUNCIL, FAO MISSION IN CAMEROON AND KOICA

The Lord Mayor of the Buea Council, David Mafani Namange Esq. and his management team, today Wednesday 10th of January 2024, at the Buea Council Chambers held a working session today with a team of officials from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), an agency of the United Nations Mission to Cameroon.

The occasion was an opportunity for the foreign agencies to present the upcoming program dubbed ‘Building Resilient Food Systems and Strengthening Social Cohesion within the Communities of North West and South West West Regions in Cameroon’ to be sponsored by KOICA.

On her part, the Buea Council represented by the Lord Mayor grabbed the opportunity to showcase the Buea Council designed integrated farming project and equally appealed for a possible MOU between the Council and KOICA for the elaboration of a risk management disaster plan for the Buea Council.

The working session ended with an exchange of ideas and a call for more collaboration.
